The Wednesday Morning QB Fumbles Again…
Much like Rex Grossman at the Super Bowl, the Wednesday Morning QB threw a few picks in this post. Then went on to pull an…

The Wednesday Morning QB (WMQB) said:
OH – is anyone else CURIOUS about why Dem Blogger Joe Monahan has mentioned nothing of the “contest” – it’s been on the blogosphere for over a week…
Maybe he doesn’t want to LINK UP and give another blogger some LOVE – even though he’s running for a LEGITIMATE position…or maybe it’s because he doesn’t want to bring any attention to the guy who is challenging Mr. C. De Baca.
Hmmm, a possibility. A remote one, but one nevertheless. But to be honest I didn’t wonder it. Especially considering the beating Monahan has taken from the Wednesday Morning QB, Mario Burgos and the New Mexico GOP’s delightful little blog.
You know, maybe it is because Mr. Burgos has his own history of acting like a jackass to Mr. Monahan…
However, when we all look back, the biggest loser of the whole day will be Joe Monahan’s credibility. No longer can he claim to be a straight talking, unbiased New Mexico political analyst.
Burgos goes on to talk about Monahan not being at the first debate between Patsy Madrid and Heather Wilson. Fair enough, although he might have thought of a more tactful way to put it.
First off, am I the only one who is getting an image in their head of Mr. Monahan prancing around in front of a full length mirror in a red alligator suit with a cigarette dangling from the corner of his mouth and doing his best Rush impression.
Mr. Monahan please take off that funny looking red alligator suit and get back into your blue one. It fits you much better.
“Red alligator suit?” “Prancing around?” You’re kidding right? What are you, Mario? Seven? Sticks and stones and all that?
For a group of people who claim to be involved in PR (Burgos) and political campaign strategy (WMQB), these people really don’t have a clue when it comes to dealing with the press, or people who actually worked in it.
You see Mr. Burgos, Ms. WMQB, you are not owed coverage in Monahan’s blog. Monahan can cover what he damn well wants to. Given Burgos’ previous comments (especially taunting the man), I’m shocked… shocked I say to discover that Monahan might not want to write about this.
In the last couple of days, I can see why he picked the possibility of Mary Herrera becoming Governor or David Iglesias’ job performance concerns. But maybe that’s just me.
